NCERT CEE 2026 Registration Process Initiated



The registration for the NCERT Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 has officially commenced. Candidates interested in pursuing various educational courses, including B.Ed and M.Ed, can apply online at the official site, cee.ncert.gov.in, until June 5, 2026.


Available Courses for Admission

The NCERT CEE 2026 will facilitate admissions into several teacher training programs. The courses available include:



  • B.Ed

  • M.Ed

  • Integrated M.Sc.Ed

  • Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed

  • M.A. in Education Technology


Each year, a large number of candidates from across the nation apply for these programs.

This entrance exam is aimed at securing admission to NCERT’s Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs), which include prestigious institutions located in:



  • Ajmer

  • Bhopal

  • Bhubaneswar

  • Mysore

  • Nellore

  • NERIE Shillong


These institutes are recognized for their excellence in teacher education.


Exam Schedule

The NCERT CEE 2026 is set to take place on June 28, 2026. The exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format, requiring candidates to complete the test online. Additional information regarding the examination will be provided after the admit cards are released.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Integrated M.Sc.Ed program must have completed their Class 12 exams. General category applicants need a minimum of 50% marks, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates require at least 45%. Notably, students who passed their Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 are also eligible. For the Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed course, a postgraduate degree is necessary, along with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade.


Admission Selection Process

As per NCERT guidelines, the admission process will allocate 60% weightage to the CEE scores and 40% to the candidates' academic records. This means that both the entrance exam performance and previous academic achievements will be crucial for selection.


Application Procedure

To apply, candidates should visit the official website: cee.ncert.gov.in. Click on the ‘NCERT CEE 2026 Registration’ link, register, and complete the application form. After uploading the required documents, photographs, and signatures, submit the application fee. It is advisable to keep a printout of the submitted form for future reference.
