Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for the Research Assistant (Engineering) position must hold a diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
For the Draftsman role, candidates should have completed 12th grade along with a diploma in mechanical engineering; preference will be given to those with AutoCAD training.
Applicants for the Fine Mechanic position must have completed 12th grade with a science background and possess a two-year trade certificate in the Instrument Mechanic field.
Welder candidates should have passed 10th grade and hold a recognized certificate in welding.
Age Limit:
The age limit varies by position as of the application deadline. For the Draftsman role, candidates must be between 18 and 27 years old. For Research Assistant, Skilled Mechanic, and Welder positions, the age limit is set between 18 and 25 years.
Age relaxation is available: General departmental candidates can receive up to 40 years of age relaxation, while SC/ST departmental candidates may receive up to 45 years.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to the Unreserved (General), EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹50. Payment should be made via an Indian Postal Order (IPO) addressed to “Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur.”
