NABARD Jobs: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has announced a recruitment drive for 91 Assistant Manager (Grade A) roles. Out of the 91 available positions, 85 are designated for the Rural Development Banking Service, which focuses on providing loans to farmers and enhancing banking services in rural areas. Additionally, there are two openings in Legal Services for legal advisory roles and four in Protocol and Security Services, responsible for office security and managing VIP events.
Eligibility Criteria
Who can fill out the form?
Candidates aged between 21 and 30 years as of September 1, 2025, are eligible to apply. There are age relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Applicants must hold a graduation degree with at least 60% marks or a postgraduate degree, including MBA, CA, CS, LLB, or an engineering qualification. Legal candidates must possess an LLB, while those applying for security roles need 5 years of experience in the Army or Navy.

The application fee is ₹850 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and disabled candidates are required to pay only ₹150. Notably, General candidates will receive a refund of ₹700 after taking the exam, and other candidates will be fully refunded.

Upon joining NABARD, the initial basic salary will be ₹44,500, but with allowances for DA, HRA, medical, and petrol, the total monthly earnings can reach up to ₹1 lakh. After five years, the salary is expected to rise to ₹1.8 lakh. Employees will also enjoy benefits such as housing, a vehicle, loans, pensions, and paid holidays.
Selection Process Overview
How will the selection process be conducted?
The recruitment process will consist of three stages. The first stage is a preliminary exam featuring 200 questions worth 200 marks, lasting 2 hours. This exam will cover topics such as reasoning, English, computer science, mathematics, general awareness, and issues related to rural and agricultural development. A penalty of one-quarter mark will apply for incorrect answers. Successful candidates will then take a main exam, which includes a 200-mark paper on English writing and rural topics, followed by a 50-mark interview.
