The Mumbai Port Authority has initiated a recruitment campaign aimed at filling apprenticeship roles within its Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department. This initiative encompasses positions for Graduate and COPA Trade Apprentices, designed to equip candidates with essential skills for technical operations at the port. A total of 116 positions are available, comprising 11 Graduate Apprentices and 105 COPA Trade Apprentices. Applicants are required to pay an application fee of ₹100 via NEFT, although this fee is waived for candidates with disabilities. A payment receipt must accompany the application form.

Eligibility Criteria

The Mumbai Port Authority (MBPA) has 11 openings for Graduate Apprentices, necessitating a degree in any field. The apprenticeship lasts for 12 months, and applications must be submitted offline via post, with prior registration on the NATS 2.0 portal. The application deadline is set for November 10, 2025, and selection will be determined by a merit list based on academic performance.

Additionally, there are 105 openings for Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade apprentices. Candidates must have completed 10th grade and possess a COPA ITI certificate. This apprenticeship also spans 12 months, with applications submitted online via post and registration on the NCVT MIS portal. The same application deadline of November 10, 2025, applies, with selection based on qualifications and ITI scores.

Age Requirements and Application Process

Applicants must be at least 14 years old for both positions. Age relaxation and reservation benefits will be provided according to the Mumbai Port Authority's regulations. Candidates with disabilities are exempt from the full application fee.
