The Madhya Pradesh Examination Board (MPESB) has announced a delay in the online registration for the Group 2 (Sub-Group 3) Combined Recruitment Examination 2025. Vacancies Overview:
A total of 339 positions were set to be filled across 28 different departments.
The MPESB Group 2 recruitment initiative aimed to fill 339 vacancies in various departments. Eligible candidates could apply for roles in offices such as the Municipal Corporation, the Commissioner's Office, the Government Polytechnic College, and the Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection. Positions included Junior Silk Inspector, Field Officer, Biomedical Engineer, Sanitary Inspector, Lab Assistant, and Laboratory Technician.
Application Timeline:
The online application process commenced on September 9, 2025, and was scheduled to close on September 23, 2025. However, on the final application day, the MPESB issued a notice announcing the suspension of the application process, which will remain halted until further notice.
Reason for Postponement:
The MPESB clarified that the Directorate of Urban Administration and Development in Madhya Pradesh will incorporate additional positions from other municipal corporations into this recruitment. Consequently, the application process has been temporarily postponed. Updates regarding the reopening of applications will be posted on the official website. Exam Schedule:
The MP Group 2 recruitment examination is set for October 28, 2025. The exam will occur in two shifts: the first from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates should arrive at the exam center one hour prior to the start time, with morning arrivals beginning at 7:00 AM and afternoon arrivals at 1:00 PM.
Exam Format:
This recruitment exam will be worth a total of 200 marks. The subjects covered will include General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Reasoning, General Science, and General Computer Knowledge, each contributing 100 marks, along with relevant subjects also contributing 100 marks each.
