MPESB Recruitment Notification



The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has released a notification for the recruitment of 200 Patwari positions as part of the Group-2 Sub-Group-4 Combined Recruitment Examination 2026. This initiative is specifically aimed at candidates classified under the ‘Divyang’ (Persons with Disabilities) category.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official MPESB website starting from August 4, 2026, until August 18, 2026. This recruitment will be managed by the Land Records Management Department (Revenue Department) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, with selected individuals assigned to various districts throughout the state.

The recruitment drive will fill a total of 200 Patwari positions, exclusively reserved for candidates in the ‘Divyang’ category. Eligible applicants include those with hearing impairments, locomotor disabilities, multiple disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities, and mental illnesses. However, visually impaired candidates are not eligible as per the Revenue Department's guidelines. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh, holding a graduation degree from a recognized institution. A CPCT score card is also required; those who have not passed the CPCT exam must do so within a specified timeframe after their appointment, or risk cancellation of their appointment. Additionally, a valid disability certificate from the appropriate authority and active registration with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Exchange are mandatory.


Age Limit and Application Fees

The age range for applicants is between 18 and 45 years as of January 1, 2026, with applicable age relaxations based on reservation policies. The application fee is ₹500 for General category candidates, while SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD candidates from Madhya Pradesh will pay ₹250. An additional fee for the MP Online portal will apply based on the application submission method. No examination fee is required for candidates applying for backlog positions.


Selection Process and Salary Structure

The selection will be based on a computer-based written examination, followed by document verification and district allocation. The exam will be worth a total of 200 marks, covering subjects such as Science, Hindi, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Aptitude, General Computer Knowledge, General Reasoning, and General Management. The selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹5,200 to ₹20,200, with a grade pay of ₹2,100. During the probation period, the salary will be 70% of the minimum salary in the first year, 80% in the second year, and 90% in the third year.
