Madhya Pradesh PSC Recruitment Notification

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Assistant Professor. The examination is scheduled for January 4, 2026, and candidates will be selected through a written test followed by an interview.

This recruitment is open to individuals who have completed their education in Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Law.

Candidates interested in applying can do so online via the official MPPSC website, mppsc.mp.gov.in. The exam date has been confirmed, and admit cards will be available for download starting December 26, 2025.

To qualify for the Assistant Professor role, applicants must possess a Master's degree in the relevant field, along with an M.Phil. or Ph.D. Additionally, candidates are required to pass the SLET/SET and the National Eligibility Test (NET), with a minimum score of 55%.

The age requirements stipulate a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum of 42 years, with age relaxation applicable for candidates from reserved categories (SC, ST, and OBC) as per government regulations.

The selection process consists of two phases: a written examination followed by an interview. Merit will be determined based on candidates' performances in both stages.

The application fees vary by category: SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates from Madhya Pradesh will pay ₹250, while all other applicants will be charged ₹500. Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹57,700 as per state government standards.
