MP Police SI Vacancy 2025: The Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (ESB) has initiated a recruitment campaign to fill numerous positions within the MP Police. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply through the official website. This recruitment will fill a total of 500 positions, comprising 472 Sub-Inspectors and 28 Subedar roles.

The application process will commence on October 27, 2025, and will remain open until November 10, 2025. Candidates will have until November 15, 2025, to make any necessary corrections to their applications. The selection process will kick off with a written examination scheduled for January 9, 2026.


Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:


Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution, ensuring they are adequately prepared for the demands of police work.


Age Requirements:


Candidates should be between 18 and 33 years old, with age relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per state regulations. Male candidates must meet a minimum height requirement of 167.5 cm, while female candidates need a chest measurement of 81 cm (without expansion) and 86 cm (with expansion).


Selection Process

The selection for the MP Police SI and Subedar positions will involve a preliminary examination (Prelims), a main examination (Mains), and a physical efficiency test (PET). All candidates must take the prelims, and only those who pass will be eligible for the mains and PET. The final stage will include interviews for successful candidates.


Exam Pattern

The prelims will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), totaling 100 marks and lasting 2 hours. There will be no negative marking in this phase. Candidates must achieve at least 30% in the PET to qualify for the interview. The Mains exam will implement a negative marking system of one-third of the marks.


Application Fees

The application fee is ₹500 for candidates in the unreserved category. For OBC, SC, ST, and EWS candidates who are residents of Madhya Pradesh, the fee is reduced to ₹250.
