Great news for youth aiming for a government position in the Madhya Pradesh Police Department! The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced a recruitment drive for filling Constable (General Duty/GD) roles within the state. This initiative is set to fill a total of 7,500 Constable vacancies.


**Recruitment Overview**


According to the announcement, among the 7,500 available positions, 700 are allocated for Constable (GD) roles in the Special Armed Force, while the remaining 6,800 are for Constable (GD) positions outside the Special Armed Force.

**Eligibility Criteria**


To be eligible for the Constable positions, applicants must be Indian citizens. They should have completed either the 10th or 12th grade (or equivalent) from a recognized educational board. For Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the minimum educational requirement is the 8th grade.


Additionally, candidates must be at least 18 years old by 1 October 2026. Those from the General and EWS categories in Madhya Pradesh, as well as applicants from other states, should not exceed 33 years of age. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per regulations.


**Selection Process and Salary Structure**


The recruitment process will commence with a written examination. Candidates who pass this stage will then undergo a Physical Efficiency Test and document verification. A final merit list will be published after all stages are completed. Selected individuals will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,500 to ₹62,000, in addition to other allowances.
