Madhya Pradesh Police Recruitment 2025: Following the recruitment of 7,500 constables, the Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has unveiled a new recruitment notification. This initiative aims to fill 500 vacancies for Subedar (Ministerial), Stenographer, and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) within the Police Headquarters of the Home Department.
Important Dates to Remember
The online application window will open on October 3, 2025, and will close on October 17, 2025. Candidates will have the opportunity to amend their application forms until October 22, 2025. The recruitment examination is scheduled for December 10, 2025, and will take place in various locations including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Khandwa, Jabalpur, Neemuch, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, and Sidhi.

Educational Qualifications
1. Subedar (Ministerial) Stenographer:
- Completion of Higher Secondary Examination (old system) or 10+2.
- Shorthand proficiency of 100 words per minute from a recognized institution.
- Must pass the Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT), including Hindi typing.
- One of the following qualifications is required:
- Diploma from DOEACC
- One-year "COPA" course from an ITI
- Modern Office Management course from a recognized institute
- Computer Diploma from a UGC-recognized institute
2. ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector - Ministerial):
- 12th pass from a recognized board.
- Hindi typing with a CPCT certificate is mandatory.
- One of the following qualifications is required:
- MCA/BCA/Computer Science/IT degree
- Polytechnic Diploma from an AICTE-recognized university
- DOEACC Diploma
- One-year "COPA" course from an ITI
- Modern Office Management course
- Computer Diploma from a UGC-recognized institute
Physical Standards
For both Subedar and ASI roles, the physical requirements are as follows:
- Male candidates: Minimum height of 162 cm
- Female candidates: Minimum height of 152 cm
Age Limit
The age criteria for applicants are:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years
- Age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be in accordance with state government regulations.
Salary Structure
The pay scale for selected candidates is as follows:
- Subedar: ₹36,200 - ₹1,14,800
- ASI: ₹19,500 - ₹62,000
Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of two stages:
- Written Examination (100 marks) covering general knowledge, intelligence tests, mathematics, and science.
- Document Verification and Practical Examination (100 marks) including typing and shorthand tests.
For stenographer positions, the final merit list will be based on the combined scores from both the written exam and shorthand typing test.
