This recruitment drive aims to fill 494 PRT Special Educator roles and 493 TGT Special Educator roles across Kendriya Vidyalayas nationwide. While the exact application dates are yet to be announced, an official notification will be available on the KVS website soon.

Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹45,000 to ₹55,000, depending on their experience and specific role, making this opportunity appealing for potential applicants.

There are age restrictions for applicants: the maximum age for PRT Special Educators is set at 30 years, while TGT Special Educators can be up to 35 years old. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government regulations.

To qualify for the PRT Special Educator position, candidates must have completed their 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a 2-year diploma in Special Education and successful completion of CTET Paper-1. For TGT Special Educators, a graduation degree with at least 50% marks, a B.Ed or diploma in Special Education, and passing CTET Paper-2 are required.

The selection process will consist of three stages: an initial Tier-1 examination, followed by a Tier-2 examination. A final merit list will be compiled based on the scores from both exams.

The final merit list will weigh the written examination results at 70%, while the interview and demo class performance will account for 30%. The combined scores will determine the final rankings.
