These positions are aimed at supporting children with special needs (CWSN). The vacancies are available for both Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Primary Teacher (PRT) levels.   • Special Educator (TGT): 493 positions

  • Special Educator (PRT): 494 positions


Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

For PRT Positions:



  • Completion of Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks.

  • A 2-year diploma in Special Education is required.

  • CTET Paper-I must be cleared.


For TGT Positions:



  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks is necessary.

  • A B.Ed. in Special Education or a General B.Ed. with a 1-year diploma in Special Education is mandatory.

  • CTET Paper-II must be cleared.


Note: All applicants must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).


Age Limit for Applicants

For TGT Positions: Maximum age is 35 years.


For PRT Positions: Maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per government regulations.


Selection Process

The selection will occur in two phases:



  • Written Examination (CBT): A computer-based test worth 180 marks covering English, Hindi, Reasoning, and relevant subjects.

  • Interview and Demonstration: Candidates who pass the written test will be invited for a 60-minute interview and a classroom demonstration. The final merit list will weigh 70% from the written exam and 30% from the interview/demo.
