Changes in Physical Eligibility and Test
The government has recently revised the physical test requirements. Men are now required to complete a 1600-meter race in 6 minutes, while women must finish the same distance in 10 minutes.
Height and Chest Requirements:
Men (UR/EWS/EBC): Height 160 cm, chest 81 cm (expanded)
Men (SC/ST): Height 155 cm, chest 79 cm
Women (all categories): Minimum height of 148 cm
Age Criteria:
General Category: 18 to 25 years
OBC Male: 2 years relaxation
Female Candidates (UR, EBC, EWS): 3 years relaxation
SC/ST Male and Female: 5 years relaxation
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination (Objective Type), Physical Standards and Efficiency Test (PET/PST), and a medical examination.
