Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

**Who Can Apply?**


To qualify for the Professor position, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field, have published at least 10 research papers, and achieved a total research score of 120. A minimum of 10 years of teaching or research experience at a university or college level is also required, along with prior experience in supervising Ph.D. students.





For the Associate Professor role, candidates need a Ph.D. and at least 55% in their Master's degree, along with 8 years of teaching or research experience. They must have published a minimum of 7 research papers and have a total research score of 75.





Candidates aspiring to be Assistant Professors must hold a Master's degree with at least 55% marks. They should have qualified for the NET, SLET/SET examination, or possess a Ph.D. (with some exemptions applicable).

The selection for faculty roles at JNU will adhere to the UGC Regulations of 2018. Initially, candidates' academic records and experiences will be evaluated.
