  • 78 positions for Fisheries Supervisor

  • 6 positions for Junior Scientific Assistant

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Each position has specific educational requirements:



  • Assistant Entomologist: Postgraduate degree in Biology (Entomology)


  • Vector-Borne Disease Control Officer and Inspector: Bachelor’s degree in Science


  • Block Statistical Supervisor, Junior Statistical Assistant, and Investigator: Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics


  • Dairy Technical Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Technology or Dairy Science


  • Fisheries Extension Supervisor: Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science or Zoology


  • Auditor: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, or Statistics


  • Junior Scientific Assistant: Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Science, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Medical Sciences, with prior lab experience preferred


  • Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s degree with Honors in the relevant subject



Age Limit for Applicants

The age requirements for applicants are as follows:



  • Minimum age: 21 years


  • Maximum age: 35 years for Unreserved and EWS candidates


  • 37 years for Extremely Backward Classes and Backward Classes (Male)


  • 38 years for Female candidates


  • 40 years for SC and ST candidates (both Male and Female)



Examination Process

The selection will occur in two phases: a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination will consist of 120 questions to be completed in 2 hours, covering the following topics:



  • 30 questions on General Studies


  • 60 questions on Jharkhand-related Knowledge


  • 10 questions on General Mathematics


  • 10 questions on General Science


  • 10 questions assessing Mental Ability
