Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: Candidates for rural positions must have completed at least the seventh grade and be permanent residents of Chatra district. For urban roles, a minimum qualification of tenth grade (matriculation) is required, along with urban residency.
Age Limit and Physical Standards: Applicants must be aged between 19 and 40 years as of January 1, 2025. The height requirement for male candidates is 162 cm for general, OBC, and BC categories, while SC and ST candidates must be at least 157 cm tall. Female candidates should have a minimum height of 148 cm. Additionally, male candidates must have a chest measurement of 79 cm, with a three-centimeter relaxation for reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection will involve a physical examination, a written test, and a technical proficiency assessment for urban technical roles. The physical test will include running, high jump, long jump, and shot put.
For the running test, male candidates must complete a one-mile run in under five minutes. Those finishing between five and six minutes will earn 10 points, while those exceeding six minutes will be disqualified. Female candidates must finish the one-mile run in eight minutes, with those completing it in eight to ten minutes receiving 10 points.
