During the fourth day of the monsoon session in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Hemant Soren made a significant declaration regarding the JPSC examinations. He confirmed the cancellation of the 14th JPSC Preliminary (PT) examination, along with two backlog examinations. Furthermore, he announced that an investigation would be initiated into the examination conducted by the TDPL agency. This announcement comes amid ongoing political unrest in the Assembly, fueled by student protests and claims of irregularities in the examination process.


Launch of 'Students' Voice with Students' Campaign

CM Soren also took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to unveil the 'Students' Voice with Students' campaign. He highlighted that over 8,500 young individuals from Jharkhand have contributed valuable insights aimed at enhancing the examination system through this initiative. The suggestions received cover a broad spectrum of topics, including OMR sheets, exam schedules, scorecards, question papers, transparency in the examination process, effective use of technology, and essential reforms within the constitutional framework for commissions like the JPSC.

In his message, he emphasized, "Our goal is not just to address issues but to establish a more transparent, fair, secure, reliable, and accountable examination system for both current and future generations. I urge all young people in Jharkhand to keep sharing their suggestions. Your input can significantly enhance the examination system and shape the future for countless youths in Jharkhand. This reform will not solely stem from the state government's efforts; it will be a collective achievement involving the youth of Jharkhand."
