IRCTC SCZ Vacancy 2026: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced job openings for the position of "Hospitality Monitor" within its South Central Region. A total of 43 positions are available for individuals with qualifications in hotel management and hospitality. Interested candidates are invited to attend a walk-in interview on March 12 and 13, 2026, at the IRCTC South Central Regional Office located in Secunderabad.


Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply:


Candidates must possess a B.Sc. degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a recognized Central or State Hotel Management Institute (CIHM/SIHM/PIHM) accredited by NCHMCT, UGC, or AICTE.


Additionally, those with a BBA or MBA in Cooking/Culinary Arts from Indian Culinary Institutes are also eligible.


A B.Sc. degree in Hotel Management and Catering Science from a government-recognized university is acceptable, as well as an MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from a UGC, AICTE, or state government-recognized university.


Application Fee and Age Limit

Application Fee:


The maximum age limit for candidates in the General category is 27 years. Relaxations are available: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and an additional 3 years for ex-servicemen based on their service duration.


Compensation and Benefits

Salary and Allowances:


The total Cost to Company (CTC) is ₹30,000 per month (including statutory deductions).


Daily Allowance while on duty on a train is ₹350, with variations based on duration:



  • More than 12 hours: 100%


  • 6-12 hours: 70%


  • Less than 6 hours: 30%



Accommodation charges are ₹240 if an overnight stay is required.


National Holiday Allowance is ₹384 for work on national holidays.


Medical Insurance costs ₹1,400 per month for ages up to 35 years and ₹2,000 for ages 36-50 years.
