IOCL Job Opportunities 2025: The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is currently accepting applications for Grade A Engineer and Officer roles. Interested individuals can submit their applications through the official website until September 21, 2025. This recruitment drive focuses on positions in Chemical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Engineering. Below, we outline the necessary qualifications and the selection process for these roles.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for these positions, candidates must possess a full-time B.Tech or B.E. degree in a relevant engineering discipline. General, EWUS, and OBC candidates are required to have a minimum of 65% in their engineering degree, while SC, ST, and Divyang candidates will receive a 10% relaxation in marks.

The age limit for General and EWUS candidates is set at 26 years, calculated from July 1, 2026. SC candidates will receive a 5-year age relaxation, while OBC candidates will have a 3-year relaxation.

Selection Process

The selection will begin with a Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled for October 31. This test will consist of 100 objective-type questions to be completed in 150 minutes.

The CBT will be divided into two sections: the first will include 50 questions related to the candidate's specific engineering domain, while the second will cover general abilities, including quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal skills.

Candidates who successfully pass the CBT will be invited to participate in a Group Discussion (GD) and group task, where their communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities will be assessed.

The final stage involves a personal interview, which will evaluate technical knowledge and overall suitability. The final merit list will be compiled based on the following weightage: CBT (85%), GD/GT (5%), and PI (10%).
