Internship Details: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released a notification for internships aimed at engineering and science students for the academic year 2026-27. This program allows students to gain hands-on experience by working in various DRDO laboratories. The application window will open on May 26, 2026, and will close on June 5, 2026. **Eligibility Criteria**
To qualify for this internship, candidates must be in their final year of either undergraduate or postgraduate studies. A minimum CGPA of 6.5 is required. Undergraduates need to provide their sixth-semester mark sheet, while postgraduates must submit their second-semester mark sheet.
If the results for the sixth or second semester are not available at the time of application, eligibility will be assessed based on the average marks from the fourth and fifth semesters for undergraduates, and the first semester for postgraduates. Candidates must submit the required mark sheets upon joining; failure to do so will lead to the cancellation of the internship offer. Additionally, registration for the six-month internship program is mandatory.
**Stipend Information**
Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹30,000, distributed in two payments. The first ₹15,000 will be given after the first three months, and the remaining ₹15,000 after the completion of the internship. If an intern leaves before finishing the six-month term, they will not receive an Internship Certificate.
