IB MTS Vacancy 2025: The Intelligence Bureau (IB), part of the Ministry of Home Affairs, has issued a recruitment notice for 362 positions of Multi-Tasking Staff (General). Eligibility Criteria
10th Grade Pass Required:
Applicants must have completed their 10th grade from a recognized board. The age limit for candidates is set between 18 to 25 years as of December 14, 2025. Age relaxation is available for OBC candidates (3 years) and SC/ST candidates (5 years).
Salary Structure
Monthly Salary Details:
Selected individuals will receive a salary within Pay Level 1, ranging from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900. Additionally, a special security allowance of 20% of the basic pay will be provided, along with other allowances applicable to central government employees.

Examination Format
Exam Structure:
The examination will consist of two stages:
The first stage, Tier-I, will be an online objective-type (MCQ) test comprising 100 questions to be completed in one hour. It will cover General Awareness (40 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (20 marks), Reasoning/Logical Ability (20 marks), and English Language (20 marks). A penalty of 1/4 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.
The second stage, Tier-II, will be a Descriptive Test where candidates must write a 150-word essay in English Language and Comprehension. This test will be worth 50 marks but will be qualifying, requiring a minimum of 20 marks to pass.
