Indian Navy Agniveer INET 2026: The Indian Navy has officially announced the recruitment notification for Agniveer (INET) 2026. This recruitment encompasses the Agniveer SSR 01/2027 and 02/2027, Agniveer MR 01/2027 and 02/2027, along with SSR (Medical) 02/2027 batches. Eligibility Criteria

Who is Eligible to Apply?


Agniveer (SSR): Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized board, achieving at least 50% aggregate marks. Those with a 3-year engineering diploma in a relevant field or a 2-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics, also with 50% marks, are eligible.


Agniveer (MR): Applicants should have passed Matriculation (Class 10) from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.


SSR (Medical): Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board, securing at least 50% in total and 40% in each subject.


Selection Process

How Will Selection Be Conducted?


The selection process will begin with the INET, a Computer-Based Test, which is an online objective assessment. Candidates who qualify will proceed to the next stages.


Physical Fitness Test (PFT): This phase assesses candidates' physical fitness through a 1.6 km run, squats, push-ups, and sit-ups.


Written Test: Those who pass the PFT will take another objective-type written examination.


Medical Examination: Candidates will undergo a medical examination in accordance with Indian Navy standards.


Provisional Selection List: The final merit list will be determined by the scores from the second stage written examination, with passing the PFT and medical examination being mandatory.


Application Fee and Salary Structure

Application Fee: All applicants must pay an application fee of ₹550, along with an 18% GST. Payment must be made online. Selected Agniveers will receive a monthly salary of approximately ₹30,000 in the first year.
