The Indian Navy has announced the recruitment notification for the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme aimed at the July 2026 batch. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online from January 3, 2026, to January 19, 2026. Eligibility requires candidates to have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and to have taken the JEE (Main) 2025 examination.


Eligibility Criteria

Who is eligible to apply?


Candidates must be aged between 16½ and 19½ years as of July 1, 2026. The age will be determined based on the date of birth listed on the candidate's matriculation or secondary school certificate. Any age adjustments based on other documents will not be accepted.


Selection Process

How will candidates be selected?


Selection will be based on the scores obtained in JEE (Main) 2025. Eligible candidates will be invited to take a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Those who pass the CBT will then proceed to an SSB interview at designated centers. Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a comprehensive medical examination, with final selections made based on SSB performance and medical fitness, according to the all-India merit list.


Training Details

Training in Kerala


Selected candidates for the Indian Navy's 10+2 B.Tech Entry Scheme 2026 will undergo four years of B.Tech training at the Indian Naval Academy located in Ezhimala, Kerala. The Navy will provide free accommodation, meals, and medical facilities during the training period. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be appointed as Sub-Lieutenants in the Indian Navy.
