Who Can Apply?
Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Selection Process and Training
Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their JEE Main rank. The selection process includes:
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will attend a five-day SSB interview at designated Army selection centers, which includes psychological assessments, group tasks, and personal interviews.
- Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive medical examination.
- Training: Selected candidates will complete one year of Basic Military Training at the OTA (Officers Training Academy) in Gaya, followed by four years of technical training. Upon completion, they will be commissioned as Lieutenants and awarded a B.Tech degree.
Salary and Benefits
Salary and Perks:
Lieutenants in the Indian Army will receive a salary according to Level-10 of the Pay Matrix. During training, a stipend of ₹56,100 will be provided. After commissioning, the Cost-to-Company (CTC) package is estimated between ₹17 to ₹18 lakhs, which includes basic pay, Military Service Pay, Dearness Allowance, Ration Allowance, and additional benefits.
