Indian Army Recruitment: The Indian Army has announced recruitment opportunities for candidates who have completed the JEE Main examination. This recruitment will solely consist of an SSB interview, eliminating the need for a written test. A brief notification has been issued for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (55). Interested candidates can start submitting their online applications from October 14, 2025, until November 13. Applications must be submitted through the Army's official website.
Upon selection via the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme, candidates will undergo a four-year training program, culminating in an engineering degree and a permanent commission as a Lieutenant.
Eligibility Criteria for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme
Educational Qualification: Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (55) for the July 2026 course. Applicants must have completed their 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and must have taken the JEE Main exam. A minimum aggregate score of 60% in the 12th grade PCM subjects is mandatory.
Age Limit: Candidates should be at least 16.5 years old and not exceed 19.5 years of age.
Application Fee: There is no application fee.
Additional Information
The training program lasts four years, during which candidates will receive military training alongside their engineering education.
A stipend of ₹56,100 will be provided throughout the training period.
Post-commissioning, candidates can expect a salary package with a CTC of ₹17-18 lakh (Level 10).
Candidates must bring a self-attested printout of their application form to the selection center for the SSB interview.
