The Indian Air Force has released a notification inviting applications for Agniveer Vayu Intake (01/2025) under the Agnipath Scheme. Age Limit

Candidates should be born between 02-01-2004 and 02-07-2007 (both dates inclusive). For those who clear all selection stages, the upper age limit at the time of enrollment should be 21 years.

Qualification

Candidates must have completed 10+2 and hold a Diploma in relevant engineering fields.

Physical Standards

• Height: Male candidates: 152.5 cms; Female candidates: 152 cms (147 cms for candidates from North East, hilly regions of Uttarakhand, and 150 cms for Lakshadweep)
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age
• Chest: For males: Minimum chest - 77 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms; For females: Well-proportioned and developed chest wall with a minimum expansion of 5 cms
• Hearing: Normal hearing ability, able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately
• Dental: Healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points

Visual Standards

• Visual Acuity: 6/12 in each eye, correctable to 6/6 in each eye
• Refractive Error Limits: Hypermetropia: +2.0D, Myopia: 1D, including ±0.50 D Astigmatism
• Colour Vision: CP-II
