Selection Process

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on a merit list created at the banking outlet level, which will consider the percentage of marks obtained in graduation. The Bank retains the right to conduct an online test if deemed necessary.

Selection order in case of equal marks:

In the event of a tie in graduation percentages, preference will be given based on seniority within the Department of Posts (DoP). If seniority is also equal, the older candidate will be favored.

Additional Instructions

Other important instructions:

Candidates must accurately enter their graduation percentage up to two decimal places. The percentage will be calculated using the formula:

Percentage = (Total marks obtained in all subjects ÷ Maximum total marks) × 100

(This calculation is independent of whether the university uses an "Honors" or "Optional Subjects" grading system.)

Rounding off will not be acceptable under any circumstances.

For candidates awarded grades (GPA/CGPA/CQPI), conversion to a percentage must follow the specific formula prescribed by their college/university. Any discrepancies in the application regarding the percentage will lead to outright rejection. Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection. The results of the recruitment process will be published on the Bank's website.
