Overview of SSC MTS Recruitment 2025



SSC MTS Vacancy 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced an increase in the number of vacancies for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havildar positions. The total number of posts has risen from 5464 to 8021. This update was shared in a notification released by the SSC on Wednesday. Specifically, the MTS vacancies have grown from 4375 to 6810, while Havildar positions have increased from 1089 to 1211.


Age Group Distribution of MTS Vacancies

Out of the 6810 MTS vacancies, 6078 are designated for candidates aged 18 to 25 years, and 732 are for those aged 18 to 27 years. The SSC had previously opened applications in June for MTS roles across various ministries, offices, and departments of the Central Government, as well as for Havildar positions in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBIC and CBN).
