New Courses Launching in 2026


Previously, IISc Bangalore offered a B.Tech program in 'Mathematics and Computing' initiated in the 2022-23 academic year. However, beginning with the 2026-27 academic year, the institute will introduce three additional courses:

3. Materials Science and Engineering


Each of these programs spans four years (eight semesters) and requires a total of 128 credits. Classes are scheduled to commence in August of this year.
