ICAR Counseling Process for Agricultural Programs
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has officially launched the counseling process for admissions into undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and PhD programs in agriculture and related fields for the academic year 2025-26. Interested candidates can register for the counseling by visiting the official website.
The registration for counseling commenced on October 14 at 2 p.m. Candidates who have successfully cleared the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025) are eligible to apply for UG programs in agriculture and allied disciplines. As per the official schedule, the deadline for registration, fee payment, and choice filling is set for October 17, 2025. The results for Round 1 seat allotment will be announced on October 21.
ICAR UG Counseling 2025 Registration: Overview of Counseling Rounds
The counseling will occur in four distinct stages. Currently, the registration for the first round is in progress. This counseling initiative aims to fill 20% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats in undergraduate programs at agricultural universities. Furthermore, all seats at ICAR-NDRI Karnal, ICAR-IARI Delhi, RLBCAU Jhansi, and RPCAU Pusa will be allocated through CUET UG, replacing the previous All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) UG.

ICAR UG Counseling 2025 Fee Structure
