A significant announcement has been made for those pursuing a career as Chartered Accountants. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has unveiled its 65th Campus Placement Program for the year 2026. This initiative features 78 companies and organizations offering a total of 5,339 job openings. Candidates who successfully completed the CA Final examination in May 2026 are set to take part in this recruitment drive, which will take place at 29 interview centers across the country during August and September. The program is designed to provide newly qualified Chartered Accountants with outstanding employment opportunities at renowned firms, ensuring a robust start to their professional journeys.


Registration and Participation Details

**6,399 Candidates Registered**


As per ICAI's report, out of 7,931 candidates who passed the CA Final exam in May 2026, 6,399 have registered for the 65th Campus Placement Program. The first phase of this initiative includes 78 companies and institutions that have announced a total of 5,339 job vacancies. This placement drive offers newly qualified Chartered Accountants the chance to secure positions in various sectors, including banking, finance, consulting, manufacturing, IT, and more.


Interview Schedule Across the Nation

**Interviews to be Held at 29 Centers**


The interviews will be conducted at 29 locations throughout the country during August and September 2026. Specific dates include:



  • Delhi: August 3–7


  • Mumbai and Pune: August 4–8


  • Kolkata: August 5–10


  • Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai: August 10–14



Additionally, interviews will also take place in other cities such as Hyderabad, Jaipur, Noida, and Thane, following the established schedule.


Previous Placement Program Highlights

**Packages of Up to ₹27.50 Lakh Offered in Previous Placement**


The preceding (64th) ICAI Campus Placement Program saw remarkable engagement, with 183 companies participating and 2,570 candidates receiving job offers. The highest annual salary package offered during that drive reached ₹27.50 lakh, while the average annual package was ₹13 lakh.
