IBPS Assistant Recruitment Process Begins



The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has initiated the application process for the recruitment of Assistants (Scale I, II, and III). Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official IBPS website. A total of 13,217 positions are available for eligible candidates. The deadline for applications is set for September 21, 2025.


Age Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply for the Assistant Grade-B position, with a maximum age limit of 28 years. For Officer Grade-A roles, the age range is 18 to 21 years for the minimum and 30 to 40 years for the maximum. Age relaxations are available: SC and ST candidates receive a 5-year extension, while OBC candidates are granted a 3-year extension.


Educational Qualifications

Applicants must possess a graduation degree in a relevant field or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in India. Additional eligibility criteria and work experience may also be required.


Application Fees

To complete the application process, candidates are required to pay a fee. The fee is set at Rs 175 for SC, ST, and Divyang candidates, while general category applicants must pay Rs 850.


Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in a preliminary examination followed by a written examination. The preliminary exam will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions covering Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, with a total of 80 marks. Successful candidates will then be invited to take the main examination.
