The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has initiated a recruitment campaign for a total of 13,706 positions within Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across the country. The application process commenced on September 1, 2026, with a comprehensive recruitment notification now available. This recruitment is aimed at filling vacancies for Clerk and Officer roles (Scales 1, 2, and 3), presenting a significant opportunity for young candidates eager to enter the banking sector.   • Office Assistant (Clerk): 8,183 positions

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?


Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university to be eligible for the Clerk and PO (Scale I) positions. Additionally, applicants should have proficiency in the local language of the state or rural bank area they are applying for. For Scale II and III positions, a relevant degree is required.


Age Requirements

Age Limits for Positions:



  • Clerk posts: 18 to 28 years


  • PO posts: 18 to 30 years


  • Officer Scale-2 (Manager): 21 to 32 years


  • Officer Scale-3: 21 to 40 years



Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government regulations.
