IBPS conducted the preliminary examination for the Probationary Officer (IBPS PO) recruitment on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025. Main Examination Scheduled for October 12
Along with the results, IBPS will also announce the cutoff scores. Candidates who meet the required cutoff will be eligible to sit for the main examination, which is set to take place on October 12, 2025. Changes in Main Exam Pattern
According to the new pattern for the IBPS main examination, the total number of questions has been reduced from 155 to 145. Previously, candidates were allotted 180 minutes to complete the question paper, but this has now been shortened to 160 minutes. Those who succeed in the main examination will be invited for an interview. A final merit list will be compiled and announced, and candidates who secure a position on this list will be appointed to the available posts.
