IBPS conducted the preliminary examination for the Probationary Officer (IBPS PO) recruitment on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025. Candidates who participated in this exam are now eagerly awaiting the results, which are anticipated to be released this week. The results will be made available online on the official website of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) at ibps.in. Candidates can view their results by entering their login credentials. It is important to note that individual result details will not be sent to candidates directly.


Main Examination Scheduled for October 12

Along with the results, IBPS will also announce the cutoff scores. Candidates who meet the required cutoff will be eligible to sit for the main examination, which is set to take place on October 12, 2025. Admit cards for successful candidates will be available for download on the official website a few days prior to the exam date.


Changes in Main Exam Pattern

According to the new pattern for the IBPS main examination, the total number of questions has been reduced from 155 to 145. Previously, candidates were allotted 180 minutes to complete the question paper, but this has now been shortened to 160 minutes.
