Application Process for IBPS Recruitment
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has initiated the application process for 13,441 Clerk and Office Assistant positions in Regional Rural Banks starting from September 1, 2026. Graduates interested in pursuing careers in government banking can submit their applications online through the official IBPS website. The final date for application submission is September 21, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduates from diverse fields are invited to apply.
Candidates must possess a degree relevant to the position they are applying for, which may include fields such as Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal/Veterinary Science, or Engineering. Other acceptable qualifications include CA, MBA, or a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
The age requirements are as follows:
- Office Assistant: 18 to 28 years
- Officer Scale I: 18 to 30 years
- Senior Manager (Officer Scale II): 21 to 32 years
- Senior Manager (Scale III): 21 to 40 years
Age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories.

- Complete the application form by providing the necessary information.
- Upload your signature and photograph.
- Pay the application fee as per your category.
- Print the completed application form and keep it for future reference. The last date for printing is October 6.

Candidates from General, OBC, and EWS categories must pay an application fee of ₹850. For SC/ST and PH candidates, the fee is ₹175. Payments can be made online.
