Application Process for AFCAT 1 2026



The Indian Air Force (IAF) has initiated the online application process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 1 2026) starting from November 17th. Aspiring candidates can complete their applications by visiting the official website, afcat.cdac.in. Applications must be submitted online, as no paper forms will be accepted. The deadline for submitting the online application is December 9th, 2025.


Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Who is Eligible?


Candidates wishing to apply for AFCAT 1 2026 must possess a 10+2 degree, an engineering degree, a graduate degree, or an NCC certificate in the relevant field, depending on the specific position.


For those applying for the AFCAT Flying Batch, the age requirement is a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 24 years.


Candidates seeking Ground Duty or Technical roles must be no older than 26 years.
