Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in one of the following engineering disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering. The educational qualifications required are as follows:



  • General and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Minimum 60% marks in engineering.

  • SC, ST, and PwBD candidates: Minimum 50% marks required.

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old.


Selection Process

The selection will not involve a written test or interview. Instead, candidates will be shortlisted based on their engineering degree marks. Document verification will occur in a 1:5 ratio relative to the number of vacancies. A final merit list will be published post-verification.


Apprenticeship Contract and Training

Selected candidates will need to accept a tripartite apprenticeship contract via the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. Training will begin after medical fitness certification and police verification.


Stipend Information

During the apprenticeship, candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000. This amount includes ₹20,500 from HPCL and ₹4,500 from the Government of India through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
