This directive was issued by the Directorate of School Education on Wednesday. The order specifically instructs all District Deputy Directors (both Primary and Higher) and principals of government senior secondary schools to celebrate Independence Day with dignity and enthusiasm.

Each government school is expected to conduct flag-hoisting ceremonies, cultural programs, and various patriotic activities. Additionally, the Directorate has tasked District Education Officers with providing necessary guidelines to schools within their districts, reinforcing that all government schools must remain open on this significant day.
