The government of Himachal Pradesh has initiated the recruitment process for the role of Junior Office Assistants. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications via the official website. The deadline for applications is set for February 27, 2026. A total of 234 vacancies are available, which include 84 unreserved positions, 30 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 48 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 57 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 12 for Scheduled Tribes (ST).


Application Process


To apply, candidates should visit the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission's website. A dedicated link for this recruitment will be visible on the homepage. Clicking on this link will direct applicants to a new page where they must accurately fill in the required details. After completing the application form, candidates should submit it and print a copy for their records.


Vacancy Details


The notification specifies that candidates must have completed at least 12th grade to qualify for these positions. However, those who have passed 10th grade may also apply if they possess a one or two-year IT/ITES ITI certificate or a three-year diploma in Computer Engineering.


Additionally, candidates are expected to have proficient English language skills and must be able to type at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.


Regarding age requirements, applicants must be at least 18 years old, with a maximum age limit of 45 years.


Selection Process
