HPU Recruitment 2025: Haryana Power Utilities (HPU) has initiated a major recruitment campaign aimed at individuals holding engineering degrees and GATE qualifications. The application window for the Assistant Engineer (AE) position is now open, with the deadline for submissions set for October 29, 2025.


Positions Available

This recruitment effort aims to fill 285 vacancies at Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL). Candidates will be selected based exclusively on their GATE scores, eliminating the need for a written examination.


Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, achieving at least 60% marks. Candidates with a full-time M.E./M.Tech degree are also eligible to apply. A valid GATE score from 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 is required.


Age and Salary Details

Age Limit & Salary:
Candidates should be aged between 20 and 42 years as of October 29, 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per government regulations.


Salary will be offered in the Level-09 Pay Scale, ranging from ₹53,100 to ₹1,67,800 monthly.

Selection will be based solely on GATE scores. In cases where candidates have identical scores, preference will be given to the older applicant.
