Haryana CET Group D Recruitment 2026 Begins



The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially opened the online application portal for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group D recruitment for the year 2026.


If you are aspiring for a Group D government position in Haryana, now is the time to enhance your preparation. The HSSC has commenced the application process for the CET Group D recruitment 2026, allowing eligible candidates to apply online. The last date for submitting applications is July 3, 2026, so it is recommended to complete your application early rather than waiting until the deadline.


Candidates can pay the application fee until July 6. Furthermore, there will be a correction window available from July 7 to July 9, allowing applicants to amend any mistakes made during the application process.


For the majority of Group D roles, candidates must have completed their 10th grade from a recognized educational board and should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to the 10th grade. However, specific eligibility requirements apply to certain positions, including Sweeper, Watchman, and Sweeper-cum-Watchman.

Selection Process


Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the Common Eligibility Test (CET). The examination will consist of 100 marks and will last for 1 hour and 45 minutes, with all questions being compulsory. The test will be conducted offline using OMR sheets, and the question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.

Candidates who have previously applied for the CET Group C (Advertisement No. 1/2025) are exempt from paying the fee again. However, new applicants must pay the applicable online fee based on their category. The standard fee is ₹1,000, or as determined by the government periodically.
