Details of the Recruitment

The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released a notification regarding the recruitment of 1,672 PGT Computer Science roles. These positions aim to fill the vacancies in government schools throughout Haryana. Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official HPSC website at hpsc.gov.in.


Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the PGT Computer Science role, candidates must possess one of the following degrees: M.Sc. in Computer Science, MCA, or a BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT, with a minimum of 55% marks. Additionally, candidates should have completed Matriculation, 10+2, or hold a BA or MA in Hindi or Sanskrit. Passing the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or STET is also mandatory.


Age Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 42 years of age. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per state government regulations.


Application Fees

The application fee varies by category: General and other candidates must pay ₹1,000. Female candidates from specific reserved categories and Dependents of Ex-Servicemen (DESM) will pay ₹250. Candidates with disabilities from Haryana are exempt from the application fee.


Selection Process

The selection will occur in three phases: a screening test to shortlist candidates, followed by a written subject knowledge examination, and concluding with an interview. A final merit list will be created based on performance across all stages.


Salary and Benefits

Candidates selected for these positions will receive a competitive salary ranging from ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100, along with additional government allowances and benefits.
