Eligibility Criteria and Application Details

2. Successful completion of a Basic Training Course for Female Health Workers or an ANM course.
3. Registration with the Gujarat Nursing Council is mandatory.
4. Basic computer skills and proficiency in either Gujarati or Hindi are required.
Age Limit and Application Fees
Age Requirements:
Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years old. However, those from reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Persons with Disabilities, and Ex-Servicemen) will receive age relaxation as per government guidelines.
Application Fees:
General category applicants need to pay ₹100 plus service charges, while candidates from reserved categories can apply for free.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a written examination worth 200 marks, with a duration of 3 hours. Negative marking will apply, deducting 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The exam will cover various subjects, including:
1. General Knowledge (35 marks)
2. Gujarati Language (20 marks)
3. English (20 marks)
4. Mathematics and Reasoning (25 marks)
5. Health-related Technical Subjects (100 marks) - with the highest emphasis on technical knowledge.
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹26,000 for the first five years, during which no additional allowances or increments will be provided. After completing five years, candidates will transition to the regular government pay scale, receiving the basic salary along with all applicable allowances and benefits.
