IIA Recruitment 2024: Know About Qualification, Age Criteria, and Application Procedure

The Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bengaluru, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 03 posts of Research Trainee (Observations) at Vainu Bappu Observatory (VBO), Kavalur. These vacancies will be filled on a temporary/contract basis. Indian Institute of Astrophysics Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Candidates must possess an M.Sc in Physics/Astrophysics from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in Astronomical Observation/Telescope/Data Analysis. Proof of work experience should be attached while applying for the post.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for the Research Trainee position is 26 years.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000/-.

IIA Selection Process:
The selection process for the Research Trainee (Observations) position involves an interview. If the attendance of candidates is high, the organization may conduct a written test to shortlist candidates for the interview. No TA/DA will be refunded to shortlisted candidates for appearing in the Interview/Skill Test.
