Qualification: Candidates minimum education qualification should be:

For JRF or PA:    1st class Master’s Degree in Remote Sensing/GIS/GEO-Informatics OR 1st Class Master’s Degree in Geography/ Urban & Regional Planning/ Computer Science/ Information Technology with PG Diploma in Remote Sensing/GIS/Geo-informatics

For Project cum Lab cum Field Attendant:    10+2 Examination with some working experience in GIS/Computer Laboratory

For Data Collection and Entry Operator:    Graduate or Post Graduate in Geography, Computer Science, Statistics, Surveying with hands-on experience in M.S. Office particularly M.S. Excel

For Project Assistant:    1st Class Master’s Degree in Geoinfromatics/ Remote Sensing/GIS OR 1st Class Master’s Degree in Geography, Urban & Regional Planning with experience in Remote Sensing & GIS

For Project Assistant:    1st Class Master Degree in Geo-informatics/Remote Sensing/Agriculture/Agronomy/Agri-Meterology/Spatial Information Technology/Masters with PG Diploma in Remote Sensing/GIS.

Education/Degree should be from recognized board or university.

Hisar previously spelled Hissar, is the administrative headquarters of Hisar district in the state of Haryana in northwestern India. It is located 164 kilometers to the west of New Delhi, India’s capital, and has been identified as a counter-magnet city for the National Capital Region to attract migrants and develop as an alternative centre of growth to Delhi. As of June 2012, Hisar is India’s largest galvanized iron manufacturing city. Due to presence of a large steel industry, it is also known as “The City of Steel”. The city was ruled by several major powers, including the Mauryans in the 3rd century BC, the Tughluq in the 14th century, the Mughals in the 16th century and the British in the 19th century. After India achieved independence, it was unified with the state of Punjab. When the Punjab was divided in 1966, Hisar became part of Haryana.

Chandigarh is the capital of State Haryana, which is situated in North India. The name Haryana was found in 12th century AD. It is surrounded by Punjab and Himachal Pradesh to the north and Rajasthan to the west and south.   Haryana is surrounded by the Delhi (Country’s Capital) on 3 sides.  It was formed on 1st November 1966. Faridabad and Gurgaon being the largest cities in Haryana. Haryanvi is the official language of Haryana whereas Hindi is spoken as the second language.
