Announcement of Final Results: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the final results for the Junior Secretariat Assistant/Lower Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2023. This examination aimed to fill various vacancies within the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Cadre Cell, Central Passport Organization (CPO), and the Registrar General of India (RGI) cadres.


As per the announcement, the final vacancies for this year included: 1 position in the Ministry of External Affairs Cadre Cell, 35 positions in the Central Passport Organization, and 19 positions in the Office of the Registrar General of India. The results for the MEA Cadre Cell, MEA CPO, and RGI cadres were delayed due to the absence of vacancies at the time.


Selected Candidates Overview:


Ministry of External Affairs (Cadre Cell): 1 candidate was selected for the single vacancy, achieving a final score of 187.50.


Central Passport Organization: One candidate was recommended for the 35 available positions, with a final score of 167.75. Notably, one SC candidate qualified under the general category.


Office of the Registrar General of India (RGI): Two candidates were recommended for 19 positions, with a final score of 130.50. Among these, one ST candidate qualified in the general category.


The Commission noted that in cases of tied scores, the selection order was determined based on the marks from Papers I and II, along with the candidates' dates of birth.


It is important to note that the results are provisional. Candidates' appointments will be contingent upon meeting eligibility requirements and successful document verification. The marks for both eligible and ineligible candidates will be published on the Commission's official website shortly.
