If you haven't yet registered for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026, this is your final opportunity to apply without incurring a late fee. The last date for registration is September 28, 2025. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal: gate2026.iitg.ac.in.


For those who miss this deadline, applications will still be accepted with a late fee until October 9, 2025.

  • Individuals who are graduates or in their final year of study in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, or Arts/Humanities are eligible to apply.

The GATE 2026 examination, originally set for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, may be rescheduled for certain subjects (CE, EC, EE, GE, GG, IN, ME, PI) to prevent overlap with the UPSC ESE 2026. The revised schedule will be published on the official website.

    • Morning: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM


    • Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM




  • Result Announcement Date: March 19, 2026
