Important Update on KVS-NVS Recruitment
Candidates preparing for teaching and non-teaching positions in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti have received significant news. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for online applications for the KVS-NVS recruitment 2025.
Originally set for December 4, the new deadline is now December 11, 2025, at 11:50 PM. This extension provides a final opportunity for those who have yet to submit their applications. The examination is scheduled for January 10 and 11, 2026.
Total Vacancies in the Recruitment
The KVS-NVS recruitment 2025 will fill a total of 14,967 positions, including 9,126 in KVS and 5,841 in NVS. The vacancies encompass roles such as Principal, PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, and various non-teaching posts. The examination process will be managed by CBSE, and candidates are advised to review the eligibility criteria and age limits for each position before applying.
Application Process in Three Steps
The online application must be completed in three stages: first, registration; second, filling out the application form; and finally, payment of fees. Candidates need to register on the official website of CBSE, KVS, or NVS. After receiving the registration number, they can log in to complete the application form and upload the necessary documents. It is essential to download the confirmation page after the fee payment.
Fee Structure Based on Categories
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Disabilities, and Ex-servicemen are exempt from the application fee but must pay a processing fee of ₹500. For other candidates, the fee ranges from ₹1,200 to ₹2,300, depending on the position. Applications will not be considered valid if the fee is not paid on time, so it is crucial to keep the payment receipt safe.
Required Documents and Photo Signature Guidelines
Applicants must upload scanned photographs and signatures in the specified dimensions. Additionally, certificates for 10th, 12th, graduation, and relevant educational qualifications, caste certificates (if applicable), a mobile number, and an active email ID are mandatory. Providing incorrect information will lead to the cancellation of the application.
Advice for Candidates to Prepare on Time
With the CBSE exam set for January 10 and 11, 2026, candidates should focus on both their applications and preparation. This recruitment offers a chance for permanent positions in government schools across the country, indicating that competition will be intense. Experts recommend that candidates begin practicing according to the syllabus and previous exam patterns.
