Moreover, in the first phase, beneficiaries can access loans up to 1 lakh rupees to start or expand their businesses. Those who repay their loans promptly may qualify for a second-phase loan of up to 2 lakh rupees, with a low-interest rate to ease their financial burden.

The PM Vishwakarma Yojana primarily assists artisans and workers engaged in traditional crafts. Eligible professions include sculptors, stone carvers, and stone breakers, as well as makers of hammers, fishing nets, and boats.


Additionally, lock makers, masons, washermen, tailors, and creators of baskets, mats, and brooms can also apply. Weavers, goldsmiths, toy makers, barbers, garland makers, cobblers, and blacksmiths are also included in this initiative.
