The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has officially revealed that the hiring process for 22,605 constable positions will begin in November 2025. This recruitment will provide opportunities in various sectors including civil police, PAC, Special Security Force, Women PAC, Armed Police, Jail Warder, and Mounted Police.
This initiative is part of the UP government's Mission Employment. In August, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced plans for 30,000 new police department recruitments, with a significant portion expected to be fulfilled in November.
Details from the Official Calendar
The official calendar indicates that examinations for 921 positions of Police Sub Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) will take place in October and November 2025. Additionally, the written exam for 1,129 Computer Operator Grade-A positions will also be conducted during this period. Notifications for 4,543 positions in Sub Inspector Civil Police, Platoon Commander PAC, and Special Security Force will be released in August 2025. Furthermore, recruitment for 44 Assistant Radio Operator positions and 1,153 Computer Operator Grade-A roles will start in October-November 2025.

In November 2025, the recruitment for 22,605 positions across Reserve Civil Police, PAC, Special Security Force, Women PAC, Armed Police, Jail Warder, and Mounted Police will be announced. Following this, a notification for 345 positions of Police Sub Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) will be released in December 2025.
